BANESHWAR
On the afternoon of Dashera when our stomach was more than full due to the feast in the mess, we were thinking on where to go for SEEMA ULLANGHAN. Someone thought of going to Baneshwar which is 35 km from Pune. We gave it a thought and were leaving for baneshwar at around 2.00 pm. We were six people Akash,Ankush,Vivek,Vishnukant,Rohit and Ganesh.
Bus was to be taken from Swargate so we went there and made some enquiries.

The bus was Pune-Velha and our stop was Nasrapur on Pune-Satara highway. At 2.15pm we left Pune and through Ghat,Small talks and some Naps we reached Nasrapur. Half a mile was Baneshwar. On the route we came across the river flowing sideby the road.

First we offered our prayers to Baneshwar(Lord Shiva) and took the prasad. In the pool of the temple were 4-6 tortoises, 2 big and others small. Through the Garden we made our way to main spot the WATERFALL. Around 4 pm when Sun was exactly in front of us we folded our jeans and stepped into the river and there was a bang...Ankush slipped into the waters. On looking around we found that the river basin was full of Algae of different kind. Walking in this kind of river basin is too risky believe me.

Crossing the river for better look of the waterfall we were taking Photos every now and then (didn't even left the Beautiful Girl there). Walking with hands in friends' hand and legs in slippery water was much fun. More fun was when every girl watching was laughing when Rohit proposed Ankush with a wild yellow flower(he rejected though).

At last we were near the waterfall which was looking more elegant with the dim light of the eve. Small droplets all over the face was an heavenly experiencs. Then suddenly Sandal of Rohit fell into the waterfall. Finding it was the most difficult part of our journey(we found it).
We had some Tarzan like experience hanging on the branches of tree(VAD) and climbing it like a monkey. After it was a Photosession in the garden on sea saws and sliders.

We didn't find the main thing for which we were there COUPLES .

Atlast was a whopping meal in a Dhaba nearby which included lot spicy dal, rotis adn jeera rice the best i have ever had and the chaepest.

At around 10 pm we reached katraj by rickshaw and were watching DANDIYA...........
